The Tackling Gendered Equalities in Scottish News Project is led by Strathclyde University and brings together scholars, women’s
organisations and journalists /editors to discuss the gendered challenges and opportunities facing Scottish media. The Royal Society of Edinburgh (RSE) funded the project in 2018 to host two events exploring the gendered representations, and gendered employment practices, in Scottish media.
