Scottish Student Journalism Awards
These annual awards aim to give all journalism students from Scottish colleges and universities a platform to showcase their work to industry professionals.
From 2019, GEMS will be sponsoring a new award category. This award will seek to highlight the importance of treating women equally - as employees, as contributors and as subjects of media attention - to a new generation of journalists. Submissions will be judged by a panel of experts, and the award is for excellence in reporting on gender issues and/or in challenging gender stereotypes through reporting.
