Zero Tolerance
Zero Tolerance is a Scottish charity that has worked for over 25 years in Scotland to end men’s violence against women by promoting gender equality and by challenging attitudes which normalise violence and abuse. Their current focus is on primary prevention, taking a practical, evidence-based approach to challenging violence and promoting change.
In 2015 Zero Tolerance released their ‘Handle With Care’ guide on responsible media reporting of violence against women, as a resource for journalists and anyone working in the media.
As well as offering advice and support to journalists covering violence against women, Zero Tolerance also administer the yearly Write to End Violence Against Women Awards.
