We cannot have a media in Scotland which advances gender equality unless we challenge both the gender equality present within the media as an industry, and the way in which the media reinforces women’s inequality in Scottish society.

Gender Equal Media Scotland is a coalition of academics, equality organisations, and journalists. We work to transform Scotland's media and creative industries, into a place where women have equality as employees and subjects.
