PAST EVENT: Violence Unseen - Exhibition, Workshop, Panel Discussion

Friday 22 March, 2019

Gender Equal Media Scotland, in association with Strathclyde Student Union, the Equality & Diversity Service, and Equally Safe @ Strathclyde, will be hosting Zero Tolerance’s powerful Violence Unseen exhibition. The event will take place at the Scottish Universities Insight Institute at the University of Strathclyde.

This photography exhibition explores forms of violence against women that are still misunderstood, hidden and unacknowledged by mainstream society. Alongside the exhibition, we hosted a workshop to explore ‘The News as It Should Be’ and a panel discussion and Q&A. You can read our blog post about the workshop here, and hear from some of our contributors here.

Location:

Scottish Universities Insight Institute, 22 Richmond Street, Glasgow, G1 1XQ

10am – 2pm: Violence Unseen Exhibition open to the public

2pm – 4pm: The News as It Should Be Workshop
